From the LSI Press Release: "Law Seminars International is pleased to present a one-hour expert analysis by phone to address the recent Supreme Court decision in Monsanto Co. v. Geertson Seed Farms, an important case for NEPA litigation and for the regulation of agricultural biotechnology. Issued on June 21, 2010, the decision reversed a permanent injunction on the planting of genetically engineered alfalfa, but left in place a ruling that vacated the USDA's decision to deregulate the crop. In this one-hour TeleBriefing, our distinguished panel of experts, who were on opposite sides of the case in the Supreme Court, will discuss the legal and practical ramifications of this widely-anticipated ruling, including what the case means for the future of NEPA litigation in general, and the regulation of agricultural biotechnology in particular." July 14th, 2010. Please check out http://www.lawseminars.com/detail.php?SeminarCode=10MOCOTB for more information and to register for the TeleBriefing. Read More »
